Spinnings & Pressings

Spinnings & pressings are produced from aluminium, mild steel, copper and other non-ferrous materials to supply our growing market of domestic heating, ventilation systems and pressure vessels. We can also offer sourcing of specific materials for aircraft, Ministry of Defence contracts and the nuclear industry.

Our seven PNC spinning machines, 3 semi-automatic spinning machines and a number of hand spinning machines are able to accommodate a material range of up to 6mm Stainless Steel and 911mm on diameter. We also have 1 x 200 Tonne Press and 3 x 100 Tonne presses to accommodate large volume product.

We have developed a process to manipulate 'Duplex' stainless steel spinnings to hold tolerances of + or - 0.6mm on diameter and we specialise in the spinning of all stainless steels.
Spinnings & pressings can be produced from either the customer’s free issue materials or specific purchased materials issued straight to the job. Finished goods can be supplied with certificates of conformity, giving full traceability through our quality control system from approved suppliers to finished products. All our products follow a route sheet procedure, with finished goods either dispatched directly to the customer or their specified sub-contractor.
